"Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen" Brene Brown

Welcome

Allowing yourself to be vulnerable with a stranger is scary, I commend you for taking your first step in receiving support.

My therapeutic styles is centred around respect and empathy. My aim is to help you or your child alleviate your pain and become more aware of your feelings and patterns of relating to yourself and others.

Is your child struggling to understand their difficult thoughts and feelings? I have years of direct therapy with children and young people suffering from the impact of early life trauma. Supporting children and young people struggling to emotionally regulate, with low self-worth, relational struggles and school difficulties.

About Art Therapy

Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses a mixture of talking and creative making to help us understand and process our difficult thoughts and feelings.

Creativity is known universally for its therapeutic attributes. Inviting art and creativity into therapy allows for a person to communicate his or hers internal self.

Art therapy can help you or your child explore and reflect upon particular problems, thoughts, feelings, behaviours and symptoms. I will offer a safe and confidential space enabling you to begin to unpick those difficult emotions.

Art Psychotherapy helps people of all ages whose memories and feelings that have been forgotten to resurface. Offering a safe space to think about your current situation and the possible connection with past experiences. The art in therapy can facilitate an improved perception of ones self, ones relationships and ones situation alongside therapeutic support and guidance.
